Why I Started Timeless Heartlines?
As the daughter of migrant parents, I grew up in awe of what they built, a life forged from sacrifice, courage and hope.
My father arrived to Australia with two hundred pounds and a plan: work hard, make money and return home. Everything changed when he met my mother and fell in love. Together, they built a new life here. Dad was instrumental in bringing his family over from Jordan. He found them work and created opportunities where there had been none.
When my father turned sixty, Alzheimer’s began to take hold.
While he was still with us, I made it my mission to capture his stories so his memories, and the generations before him would not disappear. I turned them into a picture book. It remains one of the most meaningful gifts I have ever given him.
In December 2025, I began writing my first Timeless Heartline, documenting the final five days of his life. After he passed, I witnessed something extraordinary people gravitated toward his story. They wanted the history. The moments. The meaning. His legacy mattered.
That was the moment I knew no one should have to let a story fade.
Timeless Heartlines exists so you don’t have to write alone.
Here, you are gently guided step by step to honour the life you or your loved one has lived and to preserve it with depth, dignity, and heart.
The Timeless Heartlines methodology used has been drawn from a rich blend of widely respected by memoir writing practices.
1. Find Your Story
In this stage, we use memory mapping and reflective prompts to uncover what matters most and identify the themes already running through your life. You’ll leave with clarity on what you’re really writing about, what to include, and a direction that feels true.
2. Write the Scene
Using sensory and emotive exercises, you’ll practise “showing, not telling”, drawing readers into place, emotion and meaning without force. Guided prompts help you create vivid scenes, so your story becomes readable and compelling.
3. Voice and Perspective
Peel back the layers and choose the perspective that best serves your story. You’ll practise writing with authenticity and nuance, revealing your truest self on the page.
4. Structure and Refinement: Craft your Memoir’s Flow
Using thematic threading and clear structural frameworks, you’ll organise your story into a cohesive arc, so the reader is carried from beginning to end with purpose and grace. This stage focuses on flow, clarity, pacing, and meaning. Turn fragments into a first-draft manuscript that feels coherent.
5. Share & Polish your Work + Next Steps
Writing gets stronger when you can see it through fresh eyes. Here, you’ll learn strategies for constructive feedback, thoughtful revision, and gentle refinement. We’ll discuss next steps for continuing your manuscript, building momentum beyond the program, and choosing the support that fits your goals. You’ll finish feeling clear and proud of what you’ve created.
Your story deserves more than “one day….”
